Since the release of 2015’s debut album, Don’t Look Down, Forgetting Fame have continued to bring their punk-sprayed metalcore sound to willing ears across the Northeast. With Andrew Baylis (My Enemies & I, Conditions, When Cities Sleep) behind the controls, the band built on 2013’s “Close the Casket” single with a more dynamic, direct and accomplished sound than their previous effort, and one which delivered in developing the band’s reputation beyond Connecticut alone.
With influences ranging from acoustic, punk and metal, Forgetting Fame deliver a considered and thoughtful take on the metalcore sound, ensuring that the explosive instrumental delivery is complemented with thought-provoking lyrical content and an engrossingly honest vocal delivery.
With the lyric video for new single “Sine Metu” out now and their second LP expected later this year, Forgetting Fame continue to establish themselves as ones to watch in the East Coast alternative scene.
